Act 3 Chorus
The chorus describes Henry’s army boarding the ships that will be take the soldiers to Harfleur. They state that King Charles has offered his daughter Catherine in marriage and will give some unprofitable dukedoms as part of the dowry. Henry dislikes this offer strongly , he chooses instead to go to war.
Plot Summary
After a verbal exchange from the French Dauphin, King Henry V of England invades France to claim the throne he thinks should be his. Henry halts an assassination plot, gives powerful speeches, and wins many battles against the odds. By the end, he impresses and marries the Princess of France, therefore linking the two nations.
