The client of Sherlock who spins the narrative into being, and also the love interest of Watson. She is shown as relatively vague, lacking real initiative, but her heart is noticeably pure, caring little, if at all, for the prospects of wealth and more for the health and safety of others. It is her connection to her father and therefore Major Sholto that is of importance.
